Dr. Jordan Eells

Dr. Eells grew up in Carefree Arizona with her parents and younger brother. From an early age, she loved animals and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended the University of Arizona from 2005-2009 where she obtained her bachelor's degree in veterinary science with a minor in chemistry. During this time, she worked as a technician at her local vet’s office in Cave Creek during school breaks. Working as a technician cemented her love of the profession and encouraged her to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Dr. Eells attended The Royal Veterinary College in London, England where she graduated in 2014 with a BVetMed degree. She remains a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

After graduation, Dr. Eells moved back to Arizona to be closer to her family and began working as an associate veterinarian at Acoma Animal Clinic in the fall of 2014. In 2021, Dr. Eells became the Medical Director at Acoma after founding veterinarian, Dr. Burnham retired, and Dr. McConaughey became an associate, respectively.

Dr. Eells is passionate about proactive and preventative health care tailored to each patient’s needs. While she enjoys all aspects of general practice, she particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery, interesting internal medicine cases and puppy and kitten visits where she can help educate owners on their pet’s individual needs.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eells enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pets. Dr. Eells has three cats, Kitty, Luna and Draco and a dog, Roo, who comes to work with her every day. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, watching tv and going on beach vacations.
